By: devweb

Philadelphia – January 6, 2019  – Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt and Flores, LLC (WGP) recently participated in the 2018 Lemon Run to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The firm participated as “Team Harry” in honor of cancer survivor Harry J. Kane, III, the son of WGP partner Harry J. Kane, Jr. The team raised close to $9,000 for the event.
The WGP extended family celebrates their participation in the Lemon Run while the firm’s furry family members get to know each other.
“In our daily work, we often find ourselves fighting for the underdog, so working for community-based and charitable causes comes naturally to our attorneys and staff,” said Managing Partner Ronald L. Greenblatt. “Since our law firm is like a big family, we come together to contribute as a team, and this event is always particularly inspiring to us all.” Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was started by the parents of Alexandra (Alex) Scott in 2005 after she passed away at the age of eight from cancer. When first diagnosed before her fourth birthday, Alex told her parents she wanted to set up a front yard lemonade stand to raise money for doctors to find a cure. At the time of her death, her stand had raised over $1 million. To date, the foundation itself has raised more than $150 million. Founded 23 years ago as an aggressive criminal defense law practice, Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt and Flores, LLC has grown into a full-service law firm offering individuals assistance in virtually all areas of criminal, employment, personal injury, civil rights, and family law. The firm has four offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Visit gpffstaging.wpengine.com for more information.
