Biography
Bonnie R. Golub is a partner at Weir LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she focuses her practice on Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law, commercial litigation, foreclosure matters, and commercial reorganization. Her practice includes representing financial institutions, lenders, creditors, trustees, creditors’ committees, debtors, and private companies in workout, restructuring, and transactional matters.
Ms. Golub regularly appears in both state and federal courts on behalf of clients in the financial services industry. She has handled complex Chapter 11 proceedings and has defended preference and avoidance actions in bankruptcy cases across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, and California.
In addition to her litigation and restructuring work, Ms. Golub serves as a court-appointed mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas. Her experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial disputes allows her to assist clients in navigating matters involving creditor rights, business reorganizations, and financial recovery strategies.

- Ms. Golub is currently a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. Ms. Golub has lectured on selected topics regarding bankruptcy for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Eastern District Bankruptcy Conference, and has co-authored a primer on the Chapter 11 reorganization process.
